MySpace messages blew case wide open:
Arizona--A school bus driver employed by the Yuma County school district has been arrested by police and charged with numerous crimes including aggravated assault, kidnapping and sexual assault.
Sixto Rocabado, 31, of Welton, is alleged to have engaged in sexual contact with a 15-year-old girl over the past week before suddenly being arrested earlier this week.
According to investigators, the case against Rocabado originally began after the girl's parents discovered "inappropriate messages" that purportedly had been left on her MySpace page by Rocabado.

A 56-year-old California man, who police say contacted at least a dozen different minors on MySpace, has been arrested on suspicion of sending harmful matter electronically to a minor and communicating with a minor with the intent to commit a sexual offense.
The investigation into suspect Miguel Gonzales, of Visalia, originally began when the the parent's of a 16-year-old girl contacted police and voiced their concern about inappropriate messages being sent to their daughter on both her MySpace page and her cell phone.
Concerned, police then took control of both the girl's cell phone and her profile and posed online as her. Eventually enough evidence was gathered to secure a search warrant.
When officers arrived at the home of Miguel Gonzales, they discovered he was still on the internet conversing with an undercover officer posing as the 16-year-old. He was quickly arrested.

Jamaal Watkins Accused Of Pimping MySpace Girl
Jamaal Watkins, 25, of Jamaica, is said to have exploited the young girl over a two-month period in which she had sex with "hundred of men", according to a 95-count indictment released yesterday.
Watkins, who allegedly lured her to the state of New York faces charges numerous charges including second-degree promoting prostitution, second- and third-degree rape, second-degree criminal sexual act, promoting an obscene sexual performance by a child, promoting a sexual performance by a child, possessing an obscene performance by a child, possessing a sexual performance by a child and endangering the welfare of a child.

Suspect admits intentions, say police:
A 26-year-old Kentucky man has been arrested after allegeldy arraging to meet a 14-year-old girl for sexual purposes.
Police say, Michael Langford, of Louisville, thought he had been conversing with the girl but was instead chatting with a detective posing as one online.
During the exchange, Langford purporteldy solicited the girl and at one point told her he wanted to meet her for "oral sex".

Teacher Sentenced In MySpace Solicitation Case
Daniel Harold Sundstrom, who taught math at the Pioneer Junior High School in Upland, originally met the girl in class and after offering her rides home and conversing with her using MySpace, Sundstorm subsequently arranged a meeting with the girl at a local park in hopes of engaging in sexual activity with her.
Unfortunately for Mr. Sundstrom, after he arrived at the predetermined location on June 19th he was not meant by the girl at all but instead several police officers who were anxiously awaiting his arrival instead.

Radio DJ Heath Hill Arrested In MySpace Case
Police say, 31-year-old Heath Hill, whose goes by the name DJ Skinny for KTUX 99X in Shreveport, had also promised back stage passes if the girl's agreed to meet him in person.
One girl is believed to have engaged in sexual activity with Mr. Hill prior to him being arrested.
In all, Hill is facing two counts of computer-aided solicitation of a minor for sexual purposes, two counts of pornography involving juveniles for soliciting nude photos of minors, one count of felony carnal knowledge of a juvenile for having sex with a 14-year-old girl, and one count of indecent behavior with a juvenile for sending a nude photo of himself to a juvenile.

MySpace Contact Leads To Rape Charges
Edgar Atilano Silva, who police say lied about his age online, met the alleged victim in 2007 and according to investigators, forced her to engage in sexual activity with him.
Silva, who was arrested last week, was on probation at the time of his arrest. He was book in jail on charges of suspicion of rape and statutory rape.
Because authorities believe there may have been other victims, anyone who may know more about this case or Silva is asked to contact the Santa Cruz Sheriff's Office at (831) 454-2311.

Adam Warren Arrested In Sex Sting
Ohio--A 25-year-old Nelsonville man who police say solicited sex online from someone whom he believed to be a 15-year-old girl for sex has been arrested.
Adam Warren, 25, is alleged to have not only solicited the young girl on at least three different occasions but also is said to have sent the supposed minor naked pictures of himself to her.

Stephen McSorley, 34, was apprehended following a lengthy investigation into possible sexual activity with a female relative over a stretch of three years.
According to reports, the abuse started in 2006 and ended sometime last year. The alleged incidents are also said to have taken place at McSorley's home.

Foster, 3 Others Indicted In KKK Slaying
Just a short update in the Ku Klux Klan murder case of an Oklahoma woman whose dead body was found lying in the ditch with a bullet to her skull late last year.
One of the suspects, Raymond "Chuck" Foster, 44, accused ringleader & so-called "imperial wizard", sacred holder of the prestigious master key to all trailer parks of the world, was indicted on second-degree murder charges this past Wednesday.
Meanwhile, Shane Foster, 20, and Frank Stafford, 21, have both been indicted on charges of obstruction of justice.
Daniel Jones, 23, was also indicted but on less severe charges.

A 34-year-old mother of two from Missouri has been charged with molesting a 9-year-old boy while another woman watched via a webcam.
According to records, Amy Kay Vogt, of Nixa, admitted to both the FBI and police that she removed the boy's pants and underwear and touched his penis for around a minute.

Police say, one of those men arrested was Marty Allen Bell, 48, of Robert, who allegedly possessed numerous images and videos of children being sexually abused.
Detectives had traced Bell's online activity to his location in Robert where he was subsequently arrested.
Sex Offender Nicholas Adam De-Young Arrested
Man tried to pick up girls near school, say police:
A registered sex offender living in Cañon City, Colorado has been arrested and charged with indecent exposure and enticement of a child.
Nicholas Adam De-Young, 23, was apprehended by police after a five-month investigation in which he allegedly exposed himself to a number of young girls, mostly pre-teens, on multiple occasions.

Roger Leon Barlow Arrested In Pennsylvania Arson Case

A 19-year-old Pennsylvania man has been taken into custody by police on multiple arson charges that included a fire in the town of Coatesville that left around 50 people homeless.

Police: Shawn Freemore & Ian Seagraves Killed Michael Goucher
According to reports, Shawn Freemore, 19, and Ian Seagraves, 17, were both taken into custody after police believe they murdered Michael Goucher, 21.
Goucher, who went missing on February 3rd, was found dead in the woods eight days later not to far from his car that had purportedly been located by investigators.
After initially corresponding with each other on a gay chat room, police say that Goucher and Freemore agreed to meet each other for sex, but Freemore had changed his mind at the last second and fatally stabbed Goucher 19 times.
An online memorial dedicated to Goucher has been set up for people to pay their respects.

An Australian man has been charged by police in the deadly fire outbreak that has reportedly killed 21 people and left some 7,000 homeless.
The fire, which is said to have destroyed over 1,800 properties, was reportedly set by a former volunteer fireman who had recently been let go by the force.
39-year-old Brendan Sokaluk, was recently identified in documents as the man suspected of lighting the fires sometime on February 7. Police say he started the fire near the town of Churchill, in the state of Victoria.
Sokaluk has been charged with arson causing death, intentionally lighting a bush fire, as well as possessing child pornography. Go figure.

Anthony (T.J.) Smith, no age given, is believed to have communicated with the victim using MySpace and subsquently maintained a "relationship" with the girl until ultimately engaging in sexual activity with her.
Smith was arrested last Tuesday.

A Jacksonville, Florida man has been arrested after police say he drove more than 150 miles in hopes of engaging in sexual activity with two young children, aged 9 and 6.
Adam Daniel Shepherd, 25, was apprehended by authorities after a woman contacted them and supplied them with information on Shepherd's possible interest in young children.

Police then set up a sting operation in which Shepherd was led to believe that he would be having sex with the two kids. When Shepherd arrived at the predetermined located he spotted the deputies and attempted to flee the location.
In the process, Shepherd rammed two police vehicles and ultimately led them on a two county chase before finally being arrested.

Sailor Darren Mackie Arrested In Murder Of Caitlin Trask

Virigina--A 22 year-old sailor, stationed on the USS Kearsarge, has been arrested in connection with murder of a fellow member of the Navy.
Darren William Mackie, originally of Wisconsin, was taken into custody after police received a phone call about a possible shooting at an apartment that had been in Mackie's name.
Once officers arrived on the scene they found the lifeless body of 21 year-old Caitlin Trask, who apparently had suffered from a gunshot wound to the head. She was pronounced dead on the scene.

Lisa Marie Rasho, of Meridian, has been charged with lewd conduct with a minor under the age of 16.
Detectives say the case against Rasho began when a family member of the purported victim contacted police and told them what had happened.

Police: Mom Intercepts Nude Pic Of Man Meant For Daughter
A 20-year-old New Mexico man is in a lot of trouble today as police say he sent a naked picture of himself to an underage minor in Arizona that he had met on MySpace.
The suspect, Christopher Gallegos, 20, sent the naked picture of himself to a cell phone that he had thought belonged to a teenage girl. Unfortunately for him, the mother had confiscated the phone a month ago and instead she received the picture.
Surprised, the smart mom eventually contacted police who in turn began their own investigation and subsequently arrested Gallegos and charged him with child solicitation by an electronic communication device and criminal sexual communication with a minor.
Detectives say he had also planned on meeting the girl for sex.

Kimberly Hegwood Accused In Murder Of Alma Block

In the state of Oklahoma a former veteran of the Air Force, who police say suffers from mental issues, has been arrested in a bizarre murder case of a 78-year-old woman.
Investigators say, Kimberly Kay Hegwood, of Midwest City, allegedly admitted to various members of her family that she brutally murdered 78-year-old Alma Block and for no apparent reason.
Hegwood is currently being hospitalized for an overdose and is expected to be taken into custody after she recovers.
According to reports, Block and Hegwood met at a Walmart parking lot sometime on Monday afternoon. Hegwood is then believed to have offered the elderly woman help in unloading her groceries at her home.

Before being murdered, Block had been anticipating a prayer meeting scheduled at her church later on that day.

Man admits to charges:
Wisconsin state police have arrested a 43-year-old Trevor man on charges that he possessed and downloaded child pornography.
Theodore (Ted) DeNormandie was apprehended after investigators reviewed the contents of his computer and purportedly recovered two videos of children engaged in sexual activity.

Investigators say, Shawn C. Reel, 29, a security guard at the Yavapai Regional Medical Center, assaulted a fellow co-worker's 14-year-old daughter mutiple times.
Both Reel and the minor told authorities that they did engage in sexual activity with each other.
The case against Reel initially unravelled when an e-mail was found that had purportedly been sent by Reel and contained sexually suggestive comments toward the 14-year-old.
Former Cop Jerad Moxley Gets 10 Years

A Former police officer turned bartender turned MySpace solicitor has been sentenced to 10 years in prison after originally being arrested on charges of soliciting sex from a minor and possessing child pornography.

Perverted Justice Sting Nabs Suspect
Man drove three hours to meet "girl":
A Georgia man living in the US on a work visa from India has been arrested after allegedly driving to meet a a girl whom he believed to be 14-year-old on MySpace for sex.
Police say, Sivakumar Jeraraman, 31, of Atlanta, wasn't actually chatting with a minor but instead an individual working with Perverted Justice.
Jeraraman was taken into custody and jailed in lieu of a $5,000 bond.

An Alabama woman and her husband have been arrested after being accused of enticing a teenage girl into engaging in sexual acts with them over a two day period.
Investigators believe Pamela Shankle Wells, 41, and her husband, Darrell R. Wells, 51, both of Trinity, coerced the girl into participating in sexual activities with them by threatening her.
The alleged offenses are believed to have taken place on at least two different occasions during the previous two years. The girl is also said to have been living with the Wells when the incident's occurred.
Both suspects have been released from jail after posting bond.

Thomas Hughsted Arrested In Child Sex Sting
Police say, Thomas Hughsted, 51, was apprehended at the Best Western Sovereign Hotel after booking a room there in hopes of engaging in a sexual meeting with the minor that he had been chatting with online.
Luckily, Hughsted was not actually conversing with the boy but instead an undercover officer posing as one.
Hughsted was subsequently book in jail in lieu of $10,000 bail.

James Terry Charged With Kiddy Porn
According to reports, James Terry, 22, of Kitts Hill, had been downloading the illegal images using the wireless connection provided by the university. Terry, who once been a student, had been using pass codes to access the internet via his personal laptop, say police.
After searching his residence and upon interviewing him authorities quickly arrested Terry and charged him with pandering sexually oriented matter involving a minor.

According to police, Stevie Buckley, originally of Grand Forks, had taken her daughter into the emergency room sometime on Monday. Upon viewing the child, doctors noticed that the infant appeared dehydrated and had been so undernourished that her ribs were showing.

Jonathan Farnham & Christopher Sims Arrested In Predator Sting
"Corbett said that (Christopher) Sims allegedly used an Internet chat room to sexually proposition what he believed was a 13-year-old girl, sending her at least six nude webcam videos.Meanwhile:
According to the criminal complaint, Sims also proposed to meet the girl and described in graphic detail the sex acts he wished to perform with her.
"Corbett said (Jonathan) Farnham is accused of sexually propositioning an undercover agent who was using the profile of a 13-year-old girl.Both men were arrested and subsequently placed in jail.

Jeremiah Justin Craft Arrested In Murder Of Bridget Herard
Lifeless body of victim found hidden under trash:
Police in the state of Texas have arrested a 30-year-old man on charges that he sexually assaulted and murdered a 16-year-old girl.
Jeremiah Justin Craft, 30, of Graham, was apprehended and placed in jail in lieu of a 2 million dollar bond after they believe he raped and then brutally murdered 16-year-old Bridget Herard, also of Graham.
Herard, who had been missing since December 23rd, was found deceased by cadaver dogs sometime on January 16th.
Investigators say her lifeless body had been placed behind a storage shed where she had been wrapped in a pool liner and buried under a pile of trash.
No word yet has been made as to why Craft was arrested, but they do say he was arrested "when Bridgett's body was found."

Police: Joseph Vallo Raped Host's Wife At Super Bowl Party
Husband walked in on incident, kicked some ass:
A Super Bowl party at an Albuquerque, New Mexico residence turned ugly not only for a woman who allegedly had been raped but also the suspected rapist himself.
Police say, 22-year-old Joseph Vallo, of Cubero, attended the party last Sunday when he allegedly followed the intoxicated host's wife into her bedroom and proceeded to rape her.
Luckily for the victim, her husband entered the room and thankfully caught Vallo in the act.

Ironically, this is just like a post I made of a one Jeffrey Bone, who was arrested under similar circumstances last year at Christmas party he had attended.

A third suspect, 20-year-old Robert Melgoza, was taken into custody in Phoenix, Arizona.
All three suspects face charges including kidnapping, rape, sodomy and forced oral copulation.

MySpace Removes Over 90,000 Sex Offenders
Pressure still mounts as war continues:
On Tuesday, MySpace said they have identified and removed over 90,000 different sex offenders.
That number was almost double what the company had originally estimated last year which promoted Attorney Generals in two different states to demand more be taken by the News Corp. owned social networking giant.
Last year, MySpace and rival Facebook implemented several safety features including different ways to verify a user's age and limit the ability of adults to search for members under the age of 18.
Anyway, while something at least has been done by both sides regarding sexual predators using the site, all a sex predator really needs to do is create an underage alias and bi-pass the already "new" flawed implementations.
Regardless, this is still a step in the right direction and after 3 years of doing this, I've noticed that things have gotten somewhat better over there.
Now on Facebook an argument could be made...

Father Robert Yurgel Pleads Guilty To Molestation
Robert Yurgel, 43, of Passaic, was charged in a series of assaults on the young boy while serving in North Carolina ten years ago.

Police: Jonathan Libby Beat And Raped Woman
Jonathan Libby, of Orlando, was apprehended after the victim told police Libby broke into her home and over a six hour period he raped and beat her. The victim also alleges that he held broken glass to her neck and threatened to wrap her body in a bed sheet and throw her in the Cocoa Beach.
The hellish abuse is said to have ended when the victim's mother arrived and subsequently convinced Libby that she was not going to call police. She however did contact police and according to the article:
"While investigators were speaking to the victim, Libby called her. Investigators listened as the victim confronted Libby, who did not deny that the incident occurred, but apologized for it."
The 44-year-old was then quickly taken into custody and charged with sexual battery, felony battery, aggravated assault, and false imprisonment.
Libby remain's in jail in lieu of $500,000 bond.
Healer Joseph Michael Kinney Charged With Kiddy Porn
Police took Joseph Michael Kinney, 37, of Beaverton, into custody after violating a release agreement he had made in May.
Kinney is currently being in lieu of $250,000 bail.
On his above MySpace profile, Mr. Kinney declares himself as an "intuitive healer" who is "very intellectual" and hopes one day he will meet a woman who will "slip into and evening dress for a night on the town."
Why that's important I don't know, I just think it's funny and needed a filler.
Trishana Broussard Charged With Sex Assault Of Child
Woman charged after lengthy investigation:
Police in the state of Texas have arrested a Huntington woman for allegedly engaging in sexual activity with two teenaged boys.
Investigators say they charged 36-year-old Trishana Broussard with two counts of sexual assault of a child after wrapping up a three month investigation.

Robert Scharff Arrested In Cell Phone Porn Case
Robert Scharff, 45, had turned his cell phone in at the Manhattan Sprint PCS store when the employee discovered the photos of a young child believed to be around the age of 6.
The FBI then later raided his home and found an additional 200 images.
If convicted, Scharff could face up to 30 years in prison.

Police say they searched the home of Aaron Zendejas, 24, of El Cajon, and discovered several photos of children involved in sex acts.
Zendejas, who had earlier plead not guilty to several of the charges, faces at least 42 years to life if convicted.
The child porn ring is said to have been led by fugitive suspect Jared Yaffe, who is accused of paying the babysitters in the area so that he could molest them.

Going undercover, agents from ICE say they went online and began sending e-mails to Grafel who later had purportedly encouraged his relative to be beaten, raped and tortured.
Detectives later tracked down the postings to Grafel's residence in Arvada where they discovered child pornography.
Grafel was then interviewed, who told investigators that had a sexual preference for girls as young as eight.

Child Rapist John Mucher Sentenced
John Mucher, 33, who was married with two kids at the time of his arrest, had earlier pleaded guilty to multiple rape and child pornography charges.
When he was sentenced, Mucher is said to have wept during court and asked for God's forgiveness.
The victim's grandfather however would have none of that as he explained to the judge that Mucher must have been proud of what he had been doing because he "videotaped it and everything".

Police say Matthew Peoples, of Spencer, initially told them that he had dropped his daughter, Denise Anderson, off at her mother's house before she went missing.
Investigators however did not buy the story and after searching Peoples residence and interviewing various family members police later questioned Peoples who then purportedly confessed to shooting Denise in the head.

Matthew also has staked his claim on the following dot coms, michaeljackson, mixyourworlds, xanga, migente, and xfire. However those accounts are essentially bare-bones and really not much to look at.
Besides those links, he also maintained an adult-themed Yahoo! Group.
