COLORADO----- A Colorado Springs children’s photographer was arrested for sexual assault of an 11-year-old girl, and making child porn.Glen Owen Godec, 46, had been under investigation for five months before being arrested. He was known to take professional photographs of middle school students and students of Jillian's School of Dance.
Found in his possession were pornographic images of the victim and her younger sister.. Other images of unidentified children were also discovered. Godec had moved in with the mother just after her youngest daughter was born, seven to eight years ago.
No stranger to the gray bar hotel, Godec has a long criminal history and has served time. Some of his convictions include assault, fraud, theft, domestic violence, and numerous traffic violations. He was also arrested for impersonating an officer.
Godec is already out after posting a $50,000 bond. He has been charged with, "sexual assault on a child by a person in a position of trust, two counts of sexual exploitation of a child and one count of promotion of obscenity to a minor."
