Trio Accused Of Luring Girls Through MySpace

Mother of victim tipped off police:

Three male friends from Florida have all been arrested after they allegedly set up a sexual encounter through MySpace with girls between the ages of 14 & 15 during the July 4th weekend.

Calvin (Lee) Lamb, 21, of Glen St. Mary, Sterling West, 21, and Allen (Bryant) Ingram, 22, both of Macclenny, were apprehended by officers after they received a call from one of the victim's mother.

West is accused of having sex with one the girls, while Lamb allegedly engaged in sexual intercourse with the both of them.

Both Lamb and West have been charged with lewd and lascivious battery and engaging in sexual activity with a person between 12-16. Meanwhile, Ingram was booked for kidnapping a minor and interfering with custody, using obscene communication to seduce a child, third-degree felonies, plus traveling to meet a minor to engage in unlawful sexual contact, a second-degree felony.

Deadra Ann Williams Charged With Sex Assault Of Boy, 2

Relative contacted police:

A 41-year-old West Virigina woman is currently residing at the Southern Regional Jail in lieu of $50,000 bond after being accused of sexually assaulting a 2-year-old child.

Deadra Ann Williams, of Beckley, is alleged to have assaulted the toddler sometime back in mid-May.

The victim, who is said to have been a relative, reported the incident to another family member who in turn contacted authorities.

Interestingly, Williams was charged with sexual assault back in 2001, but apparently all charges were later dismissed pending further investigation, states CBS affiliate, WVNS-TV.

MySpace Meeting Ends In Arrest

He was 18, she was 12:

An 18-year-old Florida man is in police custody after he was found naked in bed with a 12-year-old girl that he had met using MySpace.

According to police, Barrington Benjimen Smith II, of Port St. Lucie, snuck into the girl's bedroom (they had agreed to meet) on June 25th and started kissing her.

Smith then allegedly removed the 12-year-old's clothes and got naked himself.

A relative of the girl noticed her bedroom door have been locked and forced it open where she found the both of them.

Smith quickly jumped out the window and took off but was later arrested and charged with lewd and lascivious molestation and attempted lewd and lascivious battery.

Stephanie Der Charged In Statutory Rape Of Babysitter

Georgia--A 38-year-old mother of two has been charged with having sex with her 15-year-old babysitter.

Stephanie Arlyne Der, of Newnan, is alleged to have sexually assaulted the 15-year-old boy on at least more than one occasion, although police wouldn't specify exactly how many times or how long the alleged abuse had been going on.

Der has since been charged with felony statutory rape.

FBI Raids Home Of Justin Gladding

Investigation started in March:

A 34-year-old California man had his home raided by FBI agents on Tuesday after they say he possessed images of children as young as three engaged in sexual acts.

Justin Paul Gladding, of Fresno, was reportedly taken down after an agent accessed a file sharing program on the Internet and started to browse through Gladding's shared files.

A screen name operated by Gladding led investigators to his Northwest Fresno residence where they later reportedly tracked him for 5 weeks.

Jeremy Krosnick Arrested For Child Porn

Suspect traded images of pre-pubescent children:

A Bergenfield, New Jersey man has been charged with child pornography after being arrested on Friday morning.

Jeremy Krosnick, 33, is alleged to have been using the Internet to both acquire and distribute illegal videos and images of pre-pubescent children engaged in sexual activity.

The single Krosnic, a computer technician, has been charged with endangering the welfare of a minor by distributing child pornography, and endangering the welfare of a minor by possession of child pornography.

MySpace Meeting Leads To Sexual Abuse Charges

Relative of victim contacted police:

An Illinois man has been charged with sexually abusing a minor after police say he had sex with a 15-year-old girl that he met on MySpace.

Steven Swiderski, of Oak Forest, is said to have initiated a series of e-mails with the girl after first meeting her on the site in April. Later, they arranged to meet at a park where the two had sex.

The case against Swiderski actually began after a relative of the girl noticed "inappropriate messages" on her MySpace and contacted her mother.

The mom later called police who then started their own investigation.

Swiderski was charged with aggravated criminal sexual abuse and bond was set at $50,000.

MySpace Dad Killer Hughstan Schlicker Gets 20

A 16-year-old Arizona teen has been sentenced to 20 years in prison for murdering his father after he had cut off his access to his MySpace.

Hughstan Schlicker, of Mesa, was arrested in February of 2008 after he approached his father, Ted, in the kitchen at their home with a 12 gauge shotgun and shot him to death.

After killing him, Schlicker called a friend and told her what had happened who subsequently convinced him to turn himself in.

Anthony McElvain Allegedly Used MySpace To Lure Girls

Two victims identified, could be more:

An Evansville, Indiana mas was arrested last month on sexual misconduct charges after he allegedly used MySpace and Facebook to lure underage girls to his home and engage in sexual activity with them.

Anthony McElvain, 32, was apprehended by officers after a 14-year-old girl was found hiding at his home. He had met her on MySpace, say police.

In another incident that turned out much better, McElvain contacted a different 14-year-old girl on myYearbook and proceeded to invite her over to his place to drink and have sex. She smartly refused.

McEvlain is currently being held at the Vanderburgh County jail on a $100,000 bond.
