A 38-year-old married man and father of a 1-year-old residing in New Jersey has been arrested on attempted aggravated sexual assault and child endangerment charges after he allegedly solicited sex from an 11-year-old girl on MySpace.
Martin Scarduzio, of Barrington, reportedly contacted the victim online and after sometime became "friends" over MySpace.
Soon police say they were contacted by the girl's mother after her daughter told her that the conversations turned sexual in nature.
Concerned, an officer then began to pose as the 11-year-old and after two months of back and forth the two agreed to meet at a local park.
Scarduzio was arrested after arriving and taken to jail in lieu of $200,000 bail.

A 24-year-old Pennsylvania man has been arrested for allegedly propositing someone whom he believed to be a young teenage girl using MySpace.
Bryant Firestone, of Lebanon, was taken into custody after officers say he requested naked pictures from an undercover detective posing as the young girl on the once popular social networking giant earlier this year.
The recently engaged suspect (see MySpace) has been charged with solicitation and dissemination of child pornography.

Suspect Arrested In MySpace Case
Ohio--A 22-year-old man has been arrested for attempting to meet a 15-year-old girl for sex after police were contacted by school officials and a mother that he had been targeting various students using MySpace and text messages.
The suspect, Andrew Michael Meade, of New Lebanon, was arrested at a local park following a sting operation conducted by local police.
After becoming aware of the situation, an officer had posed as a 15-year-old girl and subsequently snagged the suspected predator.

Anthony Basnett Charged With Molesting Girl, 6
Missouri--A Holts Summit man has been charged with one count of first-degree child molestation and one count of first-degree statutory sodomy after admitting to police that he performed sex acts on a 6-year-old girl.
Anthony Ryan Basnett, 26, was apprehended after the victim's mother contacted police and told them of the incidents.
Police then arrested Basnett who was interviewed and later subsequently arrested.

Almost as disturbing is 21-year-old Whitney Lynn Jones, of Russellville, who stated she knew Basnett, her then boyfriend, had been abusing the girl but ultimately refused to report it to police for at least several months.
Jones also told investigators that she watched Basnett engage in a sex act with the child on at least one occasion.
